The guy wanted to sell me long distance service. Sounded like an Indian and claimed he was calling from Vancouver, Canada. Obviously he was following a script and switched to verbal prompts from someone. Wonder why there is such an influx of Telemarketers selling long distance from India. I receive a call from these jokers at lease once every 3 to 4 days. Is it that Bell Canada wants to screw us over by selling our numbers to shady operators and then also making money by trying to offer a service to block these same telemarketers for a FEE.

The caller tried the "missed call" method. Just let the phone ring for a short while, then hang up.

This person calls over 20 times a day. One day they called 36 times. When I answer, they hang up. When I don't answer they hang up and never leave a message. They call from 6am to 1130pm.

American Cancer Society Midwest Division They called and asked for my wife. I told them she was sleeping, could I take a message. They just hung up. I researched and found out it Was the American Cancer Society. I have talked to the regional director to try to change their phone etiquette.

Received yet another TXT at 4 AM stating "1111487799 : AT&T FREE MSG: AutoPay Enrollment Change Confirmation - conf #APCMAT########. Your change request has been processed." One main problem here: That's NOT my account number (I used #'s for the numbers on here) AND we did NOT change anything on our account or even pay our bill in the last few days, as it was paid 2 weeks ago. Sounds VERY fishy to me. Will be contacting AT&T directly asking them what's up, because this is clearly NOT for us and I'd like for the TXT's to STOP, especially when they are coming in between 2 AM and 6 AM CST! Also, TXTing them back does NOT work either, as I tried to send them a STOP message and it could not be sent to this number.
